Had a great experience at Libby’s, and our server Kai truly made it exceptional. Kai was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu without being overbearing. Everything came out perfectly timed, and we felt well taken care of from start to finish. The food, service, and atmosphere were all on point — but Kai’s professionalism and positive energy really stood out. Will definitely be back!

The kale Cesar was marinated to perfection. I added blackened chicken and was truly impressed by how flavorful it was! Alex was an excellent server and brings great value to the business.

Had a good dinner here. You can tell chef and/or owner really care about what they're serving. We started with the meatballs, super tender and flavorful. Had the pumpkin and crab soup. I loved it. Well balanced flavors and good texture with the sprinkled shaved almonds. My partner had the rack of ribs and I had the sea bass. At this point I wasn't that hungry so I couldn't fully appreciate the dish. Seabass was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the sides it came with. The ribs were amazing.

The food and service here is amazing! The Mac n cheese balls and decadent chocolate cake were by far the best I've ever had. The zesty coleslaw was also very delicious. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch at Libby’s. The restaurant was VERY clean, the staff was very polite and the food was very good! The manager went out of his way to come and chat with us and we did not wait too long for our food. Will definitely return soon.

My husband and I were visiting Sarasota for Valentine’s weekend and, unfortunately, didn’t have a reservation anywhere. On Valentine’s night, we decided to try Libby’s and walked in knowing it was a long shot. The restaurant was completely packed. At first, the hosts seemed understandably hesitant when we mentioned we didn’t have a reservation. It was a very busy night. But the manager, Francisco, overheard the conversation and immediately stepped in, and confidently said he could seat us. Not only did he find us a table right away, but he also helped move things along for other guests who were waiting. Our server was kind and attentive despite how busy the evening was. We started with the sweet pull-apart bread and truffle butter that was absolutely delicious. It was warm, soft, buttery, and perfectly tearable. Honestly, it set the tone for the meal. We both ordered the Dr. Pepper ribs with fries. The ribs were outstanding! Perfect balance of tender meat and a flavorful sauce. The fries were incredibly thin and crunchy. I rarely eat fries, but these were impossible to resist. I finished every last one. The ribs looked so good I forgot to take pictures. We ended the night with bread pudding and a Dragonless Mojito mocktail, which was refreshing and beautifully made. Even with a full house, everything felt smooth and well managed. What truly stood out was Francisco. A manager who is present, attentive, willing to support his team, and who personally checks in with guests makes a huge difference. As we were leaving, he approached us to ask about our experience. That level of care and leadership is rare, especially on one of the busiest nights of the year. He genuinely helped make our Valentine’s date night feel special. Thank you, Libby’s, for turning what could have been a fail into a memorable evening. We’ll absolutely return next time we’re in Sarasota.

We found this place by searching on google maps - “restaurants in Sarasota”. I picked this one based on the consistent food quality reviews and the pictures of the food. We arrived on a Tuesday around 4, and were seated right away. The restaurant has a very unique style to it, with an Upscale vibe! We started with the French onion soup! We loved it super flavorful and hearty. Next we tried the dynamite shrimp. They were lightly breaded in a tempura batter, crispy, and cooked to perfection! I really enjoyed the sauce they give you with it! We went back and forth on what we were picking for dinner because everything on the menu sounded sooo good!! He picked the full slab of dr. Pepper ribs with rose mash potatoes and coleslaw. The ribs had such a unique flavor profile sticky tender and the perfect amount of sauce on them! I’m not normally a coleslaw person but wow! I would eat it everyday if it always tasted like this! It was a wet sweet slaw with a nice crunch to it, the best I’ve ever had! I chose the chicken carbonara and was so happy with it! Very flavorful and the perfect balance of every ingredient!! Everything we tried really had such great quality to it! Very clean place with a really nice romantic peaceful atmosphere!! Highly recommend to anyone in the area!! Price point is just right for the quality you will receive!! Thankyou Alex for taking such great care of us and Thankyou to the chefs!! Such a wonderful meal will be back to try more!!!

Stopped at Libby’s on our way back home after spending the day in Sarasota, and I’m really glad we did. The food was excellent, especially the salmon, which was seasoned in a really unique way. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meals, which says a lot. Our waiter was great and really added to the experience. We were surprised to find out he’s also in a band called Tyde and found him on Spotify and he’s very talented. The restaurant has a nice vibe and is located in a great area. We’d definitely come back.

Libby’s was our FAV restaurant in all of Sarasota. We came here on a Saturday night and sat in a lovely little spot right at the threshold between indoor and outdoor. Our server Casey was one of the best in the biz - he made the experience so great! We felt like we were besties with him. We shared the shrimp as an appetizer and ate it alarmingly fast. Then for entrees, my darling got the Chicken Milanese (Casey gave the hot tip to do mashed potatoes as a side and that was a crucial and worthwhile decision) and I got two apps as my entree, the Brussels sprouts and the Tuna tataki. The tuna is something I will be thinking about for years to come. We polished it all off by sharing a deliiiiightful key lime pie, a 10/10 choice. All the employees at Libby’s are top tier and so kind, and we couldn’t stop talking about our dinner here for the rest of our time in Sarasota. Can’t wait to come back :)
